| | | Sutton Park - Fantastic Walk Just been out for three hours round Sutton Park and into Sutton Town then returned back through the park again. A modest 7 miles or so but a fantastic walk. Wildlife is a bit sparse at present - no mammals but plenty of birds on the frozen lakes and even a few fishermen on the east side. More bikers and walkers than I have seen out for some time now, no doubt testing their new outdoor clothing gifts from Santa.
Strange, but somehow I feel better after a walk in the freezing cold, maybe its because its only the seasoned walkers that brave the weather so there are far more sincere "hello's".
All of the park is swathed in snow, the two golf courses are unplayable. For me I hope the weather stays this way for a while. I'll be out again tomorrow walking the north side.
