We find them very difficult to find these days, though last year found a couple in a thicket in a small quarry on a hill above one of the Burnham villages (can't remember which one). Alas last weekend we found the site to have been wrecked somewhat.

Wow, thanks for all the replies. I've had a right old stressful week at work. When things have been at there worst I've just cast an eye across to the office calendar where my days off are marked. I just can't wait. Haven't been to Norfolk since I was a kid and this is my first time as a bird watcher.

This is the bank holiday weekend and the kids are on holiday. I'll bet there will be more than one big bald yorkshireman on the norfolk coast!
