| | Re: My trip to Norfolk If you want to experience the true wild parts of Norfolk it would be best to explore central Norfolk. North of Thetford we have a RSPB nature reserve, Pingo trail which encompasses Peddars Way, Thompson Lakes and Wayland Woods. Staying in this area you will not have to pay the vastly inflated prices in North Norfolk and find the area far less commercialised. This area has lot to offer its abundant wildlife and visitors seeking a good location. Forgotten Watton, Thompson and Surrounding villages offer good hotels and motels, camping etc. Living in the area I would advise visitors looking for peaceful environments to avoid Large areas although Norwich is the most amazing city, but some of the other large towns can be a bit rough. The broads are mostly commercialised in the Wroxham area but to the edge of Norwich are some very quiet parts, try Redham ferry. Filby and Rolesby broads are very quiet areas and offer good services to people who appreciate nature at its best. Hope that you can come to our beautiful county and avoid the things that we do. |

| | Re: My trip to Norfolk what the uncyclopedia does not mention is the invasion that took place in the sixties when thousands of londoners attacked from the south. They attacked with toilet pans which they aimed at the houses of the enemy they thought wore six finger gloves. Then they carried on to counter attack with supermarkets and DIY stores and the Nor folk surrendered to broadband. Slowly the whole area was colonised by outsiders who bought their gemmies with them so Norfolk had to build more police stations to stop panic and anarchy. The weekly stagecoaches were taken off the road and replaced with park and ride facilities so the inhabitants can storm the city at night and let their hair down using money to bata, replacing local cabbages and barn dances. The university improved and no longer concentrated on tractors, becoming one of the finest in Britain training some of the finest in medicine. A new hospital was built to treat the shell shocked nor folk who are still finding it difficult to get rid of the toilet pans embedded in their homes.
Sorry Nor folk I am jesting, I'm a bit of a rumen. Ps have not seen the puppet man for couple of years? | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
