today demonstrates what can be seen there with little effort, in under a hour today i watched a bittern cross in front of piper marsh hide at about 5m meters away, then on leaving the hide i watched a stoat kill and then drag away a rabbit

Nice day for a walk around Potteric Carr.
Halfway around I was shocked to come upon a gaggle of the dreaded bus spotters:





In truth they were watching a long-tailed tit nest-building.
Lovely day to be out with lots of birdsong in the woods.
