| | | Donna Nook i'm thinkin of taking a journey to donna nook in the next couple of weeks, never been before.
unfortunately i'm without a car and live in nottingham so might be a bit difficult, does anyone know if its easy to get there by public transport and where the nearest town/village is?
also apart from the seals, what else of interest might i see at this time of year??? |

| | | Re: Donna Nook Im not sure if its reachable by public transport. The nearest station is in Grimsby which is a good 10miles away. You may be able to get a bus to North Somercotes (the nearest town) but its over 2 miles walk from there.
As for what else is around, I went a month or so ago and there were so many people there wasn't much else: just gulls, meadow pipits, pied wagtails and starlings. |

Snow Buntings and Shore Larks are a possibility, other than the gorgeous seals!
