New Forest National Park Authority plans ditched :(

I read about this in the local paper I picked up in Ashurst a few weekends ago, and thought it might interest some folks here. There were some stupid bits in it like the service villages and possibly the road tolls, but the dog free car parks are needed based on my time there were I saw dogs chasing deer, ponies and birds, not to mention one lady in who pulled up in a car park with 2 small dogs on a lead and SIX other large dogs without one. Terrible outcome, I have never been but from the incidents that I've heard about this is a a terrible outcome. This is always a problem with people, they blame others and take the position "why should I a responsible citizen be punished for others xxxing" we'll the thing is with these places you can't just say that. I myself, if my local nature reserve's wildlife had been disturbed by walkers I wouldn't complain that because I wasn't the one disturbing them then I shouldn't be punished, I would agree for the sake of the wildlife that certain or all areas at certain times of the year should not be entered.
