Inspire me with somewhere to go.....

After a very heated discussion () with my hubby earlier we now have a whole day together tomorrow for the first time in months and I want to make the most of it and go out for the day.
Trouble is, I can't decide where to go! I'm looking for somewhere within 2 hours of Reading (Hants/Oxfordshire/Wiltshire, etc) where we can walk and have a picnic without crowds of people and which is dog friendly. Any suggestions....

Having checked on Streetmap it appears that Brede High woods is 1 hour 42 minutes away from Reading.

Very dog friendly with loads of small streams etc. for them to drink out of. Almost 650 acres and not too busy. Even when the car park is full, not very often, you rarely bump into anyone.
