| | | Exploring Scotland help please Hello everyone
Me and a friend are planning our own little photography weekend in the Highlands and was wondering if anyone could tell us the best places for wildlife etc.
Ideally we dont want an arranged tour/hike/climbing etc with a tour operator we just want to do it on our own and basically explore.
Birds of prey are a must and the golden eagle and osprey is what i will mainly be looking for.Aswell as other land animals.Any amazing scenic forests/woodland etc that we can legally walk into would be great.
So if anyone has any good suggestions then that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks alot in advance

Its going to be a photography break so Im looking for a wide range of wildlife and beautiful scenery.I'd love to see the Golden eagle too if theres any hot spots for them ?
On the scenic front I'd really like a pine forest to go exploring in and which isnt too far from a lake or loch (sorry dont know the difference lol) .
We'll be staying from probably a thursday night to the sunday morning and Im not really fussed where we stay, preferably near to where we will be Photographing.
Ideally I'd rather it not be a planned tourist guide thing as we'd like to do our own thing.Sorry if Im asking too much by the way lol what Ive just described sounds like something from Narnia. |
