| | | Lake District log cabin recomendations please Hello everyone
Im looking to book a break for me and my girlfriend to the Lake District and was wondering if you could help please
I might be asking too much here lol but Ive always loved the idea of staying in a log cabin in a woodland setting surrounded by wildlife, trees (obviously) etc with a gorgeous view of the lake or a log cabin on the shore surround by woodland.
Can anyone tell me if theres places of that sort to stay in the Lake District ? Ideally I dont really want to be in a area thats full of tourists, nice and quiet would be great with nice wildlife walks etc as Ive taken up photography too.
Thanks so much in advance
Kind regards
Joe |

yeah its a lovely place, right out in the middle of the sticks! you got northumbria, then cumbria and to the north, scotland and dumfires & galloway, and carlisle for local supplies.
who cares if ure fishing or not!!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s there is hardly anybody there to differ, ive never seen a fisherman there put it that way.

| | | Re: Lake District log cabin recomendations please There's these ::Bassenthwaite Lakeside Lodges:: They are right on the lake in the woods & outside the main tourist centre. I often see the ospreys flying over the bay where these lodges are plus you have red squirrels etc in the woods.
I don't think the lodges are cheap though. |
