I`ve seen photos of these limestone pavements but never seen them in the flesh. They look amazing. Glad you had a nice break Ruth

Yes the pavement is an awesome sight and the tiny trees that grow in the grikes (gaps between the slabs) are fascinating......the whole place has a strangely surreal feeling to it!  |

Super photo's, Ruth! I would love to see the limestone pavements! The trees sound as though they have been Bonsai'd (sp)! Pity about the butterfly though, you will have to have a return trip! Thanks for sharing such fascinating pics of the pavements! |
