| | | Re: cameras on troutbeck teesdale I got to it last autumn from Cow Green Reservoir because I thought that way would be the least strenuous. Whichever way, the view from the Pennine edge westward on a good day takes your breath away.
I also had a job at the top of Knock Ore Gill, just north west of Dufton, last year. That's where I bumped into the Golden Eagle photo shoot run by a local falconry centre. |

| | | Re: cameras on troutbeck teesdale There were a couple of leads given in two early posts, both related. I have taken the liberty of phoning ECN at Lancaster on the number I gave you and the contact John Adamson hasn't worked there for three years but I was directed to Rob Rose who, unfortunately wasn't in. I'll try again next week and let you know what I can come up with.
I also have to visit the hydrometry station on Troutbeck early in the New Year and will also enquire via my access permissor.
As you've got me on a roll, I've just had an informative chat with an NE employee at the Moor House Office 01833 622 374. I relayed your enquiry to her and she told me..." The cameras record physical data, weather, plant growth, mammal movements and are run by CEH Lancaster as part of a long term project monitoring climate change. Some of this data is in is the public domain and can be found (with images) on the European Climate Network's website."
So there you are.
