| | | I remember taking it ,but where ? I didn't know which forum to ask in ,so I've looked in here and think this could be the right place ,if not sorry.
I took a lot of photos whilst we were on holiday in Scotland a few years ago,and never got round to putting them in an album .Well I've started to tidy them up,but I've forgotten where some were taken ,any help would be great.
Thanks Barbara. |

| | | Re: I remember taking it ,but where ? It's Buachaille Etive Mhor at the head of Glen Coe.
When I went up a few years ago, I fell in step with a Greek Doctor working in Glasgow. When I asked him why he came to Glasgow to work, he said he was a cardiologist and that all cardiologists come to Glasgow as 'it is the heart attack capital of The World'. He said that he saw hearts on people in their twenties, that were like those on seventy year olds! It was down to alcohol, diet and drugs.

| | | Re: I remember taking it ,but where ? I'm glad that someone else has seen Glencoe in the sunshine! I still get comments, nearly 30 years on, about the sunny pics I took there. We had ten days of glorious sunshine and it was in late July/early August too. |

Thanks for your help ,I guessed Ron would be one person to know ,just by looking at your posts I can see you love Scotland Ron.So did we ,we spent 3 weeks touring, staying bed and breakfast where ever we felt like it and we hardly saw a cloud,it was September and the weather was beautiful,so like Lyn all our photos have blue skies.
If I can scan some more and then change them to jpeg and then resize them I'd appreciate your help with locations.
Jim we met some lovely people when we were walking, they were visiting from New England and had always wanted to see Scotland ,so when they retired they came over for 2 months (how the other half live )but they were nice down to earth people, and good walking company, with lots of stories to tell.
Thanks Barbara |

| | | Re: I remember taking it ,but where ? Thank you Jim I like that picture too.It was taken with the only camera we have ,it's a KodakC340 digital.we bought it because it has it's own printer dock, but I hardly ever use that because I upload most of them to my laptop.
My scanner is probably the cheapest I could find at the time,it's a HP C4180,it's a scanner ,photocopier and printer ,good value too about £40 with the 2 ink cartridges included ,that's the expensive bit ,isn't it,blooming ink costs a bomb.
One day I'd like to have a super duper camera to take beautiful photos with, but I'd have to have lots of advice about which one,and how to use it.
I'm still trying to upload more photos ,but now I've got the file too big.
Reading that back through I sound a bit like Scrouge, but I'm not really. |
