| | | Mt Snowdon. I managed to capture the great mountain completely free of cloud yesterday!
You don't very often see it as clear as this ....even in the summer! |

| | | Re: Mt Snowdon. Looks like you had a lovely day Ruth, and very lucky with the weather!
I've got a feeling your picture is of Moel Siabod though, not Snowdon (sorry if I'm wrong!). Snowdon is the next one over and is surrounded by lots of other peaks, so you weren't far off!
Both are lovely mountains, and Siabod usually has less cloud on it as well being that little bit lower...I climbed it last year for charity and it's lovely, much less busy than its famous neighbour
Am very jealous I don't live nearer, think I'm at the wrong end of Wales for dramatic mountains! |

| | | Re: Mt Snowdon. Siabod is far more photogenic than Snowdon anyway...and actually looks a lot more dramatic as it isn't cluttered up by other mountains
There are some pictures of both mountains on here.. http://www.staysnowdonia.co.uk/tourist/Snowdon.html
You brought back some lovely memories and have made me want to go back!!
