I hear Jaxx nightclub in Fleet can get pretty heated on a Saturday night, but for those Natural History subjects you're interested in you could do worse than investigate the Morgaston Wood area (adjacent The Vyne NT) with it's mixed woodlands, medieaval pond, grassland meadows, old oak pastures and bird hide overlooking wetlands:
"It is free to enter Morgaston Wood, which is open all year, via permanent access from Morgaston Road. However, access to the wood across the North Park on the estate [ National Trust | The Vyne | Park & estate ] is only possible when the property is open to the public.

| | | Re: Hampshire hotspots Swanick Nature Reserve is great its the old brickwork diggings and they have been made into about 6 lakes with lots to see around. Its by the national air traffic control HQ just of the M27 it borders the Hamble river. All my butterfly pics taken there.
Also Titchfield Haven Nature Reserve its right on the coast so lots rockpools and scenes of Isle of Wight as well as the reserve.
Also river walk at Old Arlesford where there are water vole.
Hampshire is an abundance great places but hope these 3 start you off just google them for directions
