| | | Re: Wiltshire hotpots? I notice searching this forum that you didn't get a reply to your request. It doesn't really suprise me. I've just moved to South Wiltshire and I have to say its the most unreported Wildlife area I've ever come across.
In fact when ever I check websites or magazines for info on Wildlife in Wilts its always exremely brief and most likely the north around Swindon .
I'm not sure why this is , I have a few ideas but I too would like to know of any good places.

The a number is decent sites listed here: Fatbirder - Wiltshire
Might be worth contacting some of the local clubs to find some more locally kool spots.

From the longest reply to the quickest. I've seen those sites and look I say they tend to concentrate on North wilts or the Plain area . No one seems to bother with South Wilts. I've found a few spots myself and I'm going to the Gilling RSPB Group this Friday but technically they are a Dorset Group .
