Some of you may like to see these shots taken on a lovely sunny September day last year when we climbed and walked the Roaches in Staffordshire.
The rock formations are amazing and the views stunning.
The Docksy pool is rumoured to be bottomless.    |

The last time I walked the Roaches, Doxey Pool was frozen over. My daughter (quite young at the time) ran ahead thinking it was safe to stand on  I grabbed her just in time!

I live not far from the roaches and its a lovely place to go such nice views on a clear day.

Is it true that there were/are wallabies up there or was that just hen cloud? Or am I going senile?

I have seen red-necked wallabies there in the past, but not for some years, some say they have died out, others that there are still some about. |

Sorry to say but the Wallabies are no longer there,No one as seen any for a number of years now. But just incase you do see any besure to photograph it as it would be news for our local papers.
