| | | The Roaches,Staffs. Some of you may like to see these shots taken on a lovely sunny September day last year when we climbed and walked the Roaches in Staffordshire.
The rock formations are amazing and the views stunning.
The Docksy pool is rumoured to be bottomless. |

| | | Re: The Roaches,Staffs. The last time I walked the Roaches, Doxey Pool was frozen over. My daughter (quite young at the time) ran ahead thinking it was safe to stand on I grabbed her just in time!

Is it true that there were/are wallabies up there or was that just hen cloud? Or am I going senile?

| | | Re: The Roaches,Staffs. I have seen red-necked wallabies there in the past, but not for some years, some say they have died out, others that there are still some about. |

The Docksy pool is rumoured to be bottomless. | Very nice pics of what looks like quite a rugged landscape. Looks like sandstone to me, any idea what rock it is? |

| | | Re: The Roaches,Staffs. They are great photos Ruth, it's a very beautiful place. I have been there a few times, it's not too far from me. Sadly I am unable to walk the track like I used to. Thanks for sharing | | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
