| | | Favourite WABers sites I was just wondering if any WABers had a particular favourite place, somewhere that they visit again and again, and what it is that draws them there.
I live near the Norfolk coast and I get such a sense of peace from just sitting next to one of the tidal creeks near Titchwell etc and just watching the wildlife and the water. It's like Christmas as you just don't know what you are going to get. Every visit is different but every visit leaves me with the same inner calm, something that is very hard to describe but I am sure you all know what I mean. It is the ultimate in relaxation for me and the perfect way to forget the stresses of work and what is more it is totally and utterly free.

I don't have one particular favourite, as in Bonny Scotland we have so many beautiful places! Ones that stand out are the Cairngorms, Glencoe, Sandwood Bay, Isle of Skye and the Isle of Mull - just stunning!

| | | Re: Favourite WABers sites Probably very obvious but my favourite place is the New Forest especially when you can walk away from the crowds, The wildlife is vast but my favourite are the deer which I could watch everyday of the year.
Another place I do like is Arne in dorset it is so picturesque and also with deer

| | | Re: Favourite WABers sites My local patch, High Wood. Ten minutes walk down a foot path and I'm there. It's ancient woodland, has some smashing mammals as well as birds, butterflies and other inverts. |
