When I saw the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be about WABbers favourite web sites! How sad is that !!! 
I guess I have number of favourite sites. Like K9photo I like Titchwell and the North Norfolk coast, great for birdwatching and very atmospheric with all the tidal creeks and miles of sandy beaches. I love the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, but more for the walking than the wildlife. Closer to home, I love the area round Ivinghoe Beacon and Ashridge - a great mixture of beech and other woods, chalk downland and grass commons, with a great variety of wildflowers and butterflies, plus numerous Fallow and Muntjac deer. |

I can't help but choose the Peak District, being as I live here  It offers a lovely variety of walks and turns up some great wildlife too....if you know where to look! 
I also love the Lakes (for walking) and Pembrokeshire (for walking and holidays).
I'm hoping to visit Scotland sometime in the near future and I'm sure that will go on my 'favourite site' list too!
