Ah thanks Tracey - I'm glad its still giving pleasure (I must admit to sneaking a fast read thro about once a week to keep the feelings alive - it sort of extends the holiday!) We're approaching our las hol of the year next month - and are waiting till the night before to decide just which direction we're heading in - nothing planned - well yes we have plans - but not set in stone! We will probably spend two weeks driving up and down the M6

I can't wait for your next batch of photos, once you are well enough, but in the meantime it's such a pleasure reading through your Western Isles Odeyssey 2008 and the photos are just amazing. It's like a really good book, once you pick it up, you just can't put it down!
All the best Pauline

Hope the weather improves too! Looking through my Lightroom catalogue I can see that I have kept 1114 images from June, 1223 from July but only 293 from August. This is almost entirely due to the lousy weather stopping me from going out at the weekends.

I've just had a re-read thro my thread and everyone's lovely comments to get me in the mood for the next visit which is looming - a week on Tues ..... I should actually be packing and checking alll sorts of this and that - not sat here dreamily reminiscing ........... and hoping to repeat it all again and better! Dare I say it? My back is not very happy and hasn't been for about 6 weeks now ...... but my knee is ok ......... now what should I say or do now to remove the 'hex' of saying that out loud
A pity our friends are not with us this year (they have been to Extremadura) so are going to miss 'Enya-time' as Dave calls it - but we have booked provisionally for 2010 and I think Dave is sweating on it already
But its no use just thinking about it won't get the preparation done - so I must switch off here and go and start with a vengeance!!
