| | | The New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park I'm thinking of going along to The New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park near Southampton on Thursday. I was googling away looking for somewhere to go and came across it, I haven't heard of it before.
Has anyone been and is it worth the 110 mile round trip?

Its worth going to if your in the area, but I don't know about coming down just for that.
I take it you've found the website? The New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Conservation Park |
If your down this way, it might be worth going to Bolderwood to see the Fallow & the Reptilary isn't far away (has the Goshawk nestcam display), or just a walk in the Forest.
A bit on Bolderwood Forestry Commission - New Forest -
A bit on the Reptilary Forestry Commission - New Forest -
I'm sure others will come up with more ideas. |

| | | Re: The New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park Thanks Deer Stalker, I'll have myself a looksy at those websites, I had already looked at the otter & owl one.
I don't mind a bit of travelling, it's mainly a day out for my Mum who's got a 'day off' caring for her father-in-law and who loves nature too.

| | | Re: The New Forest Otter, Owl and Wildlife Park Can you say hello to my otter if you go. When we got married last year the girls at my husbands company sponsored an otter at the sanctuary for us as a wedding present. I haven't met him yet... but it should say sponsored by Jane & Andrew Adams on a plaque.
I thought it was a great idea. Much better than "another" toaster! |
