| | | budburst New signs of spring today in staffordshire
Sycamore trees buds have opened, and so have the hawthorn.
Also the first bluebell flower stalks are pushing up through the soil
Any one else got any pictures of buds bursting and when?

| | | Re: budburst In Central Scotland we have some leaf activity on Hawthorn and Elderflower, little else but it won't be long, though the daffs are out and the bluebells are pushing up as is the wild garlic, no flower heads as yet. |

| | | Re: budburst The buds are all pretty well burst, however i havn't seen any oaks burst yet. The hawthorn, and blackthorns leaves are spreading out.
The first bluebells have just started to open. Today is the first spring day that we have for about a week (frosts last week).
The magnolia bush has flowered for the first time in about 5 years!!! (although at the weekend ill have to go out and destroy the ground alder rapidly wrapping itself around the magnolia, and suffocating the strawberrys)
Spring is definatly here
