| | | Re: Which National Park? Well I am biased being born bred and still live in Devon. It has to be Dartmoor with its rugged beauty and Exmoor as my second very close choice for its fantastic views
besides that I haven't been anywhere near the others |

The last time I ventured out that far I sat in the car on a deserted country lane and watched several Red kite perform aerobatic feats no more than 50 metres from the car, it was an amazing sight.
I know its not a National park (but it should be) the Gower peninsula is a 15min. drive away, what with it's array of rare plants, diverse variety of birds and wildlife it's a photographers paradise, yet I seldom go there.
As stated by Ron we take what we have for granted. |

| | | Re: Which National Park? I have really got to go to the Caingorms someday, with all the pictures I have seen and all that I have heared about it, it seems spectacular.
Anyone know any good walks in the Caingorms?

| | | Re: Which National Park? Personally, I think that this poll will have absolutely no reflection on which is the best, most beautiful or whatever.
I'm probably the same as everyone else on here in that I will only vote on a park that I have visited, namely the Cairngorms, Loch Lomond or the Lake District. I won't vote for any of the others as I have never been to see them, even though they may be better than the ones I mentioned. |

However it does tell you how many people visit each national park the most which is the lake District followed by the Caingorms (currently)
