| | | Preseli mountains It was a sunny day on Sunday so went for a walk on Mynydd Preseli, the Preseli hills. Here are some pics, looking towards Cardigan from Foeldrygarn.
They are a magical range of hills and there is a prehistoric track called the Golden Road that runs across them. |

| | | Re: Preseli mountains Yes, as far as I know there are youth hostels, my daughter used to stay in them and walk along the coasts, I expect they are still there! I know the YHA was going to close some hostels... As for campsites, I don't really know of nice ones near the coast, so maybe do a google search.
It's a beautiful place, Pembrokeshire well worth a visit! I live in the next door county of Carmarthenshire |

We stayed in Narberth. I remember going to an utterly bewitching beach at Marloes. I'd love to go back there (without a clip board and the obligatory bearded Geology lecturer barking orders in my ear 'ole).

Regards, Chris | I know narbeth well! Perhaps its time for a return visit, well maybe to another town in the area.
The pembs coast is a great place for rocks. It's got such attractive scenery and wildlife, many of the bays are lovely(I'm beginning to sound like the tourist board). Although Welsh summers are usually best in May and June after that they go downhill most years | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
