Today was a lovely day once the cloud cleared at 12 o'clock, and there wasn't any wind to speak of. We went to Harty Ferry on the North Kent coast for a walk.
The most predominant birds were lapwings, and as I'm not an expert on birds I didn't recognise many of the birds I saw, I just know there were loads of them.
I found the artesian well interesting.
Some government departments have too much money.
The view across the Swale to the Isle of Sheppey
I'm not sure who was watching whom.
The Lapwings.
There were quite a few Godwits.
Is this a pochard?
We then drove to Hollow Shore where the pub car park had a blackthorn hedge full of sloes.
We then stopped at one of the best pubs I know for refreshment and a sausage baguette before continuing our journey over Graveney Marsh.
