100s of brent geese (both types), Waders, ducks, small birds (stonechats etc) and sea birds. I saw two spoonbills a couple of winters back there and theres usually some bop around, even if its often just a kestrel or two. Its in the north end of RSPB langstone harbour, alough the reserve itself i believe is run my hampshire wildlife trust

Try Cuckmere Haven. It's very beautiful and is excellent for birds. Sunday afternoons are very busy though - avoid!

From Exceat you can walk up the river to Littlington (good pub for lunch!) and then walk back through Friston Forest. Wildlife really good at this time of year.
