Porthemmet Beach
Has anyone here been to Porthemmet beach in Cornwall? Looking at the postcard it's fantastic and has apparently got warm seas, dolphins and a coral reef. It's also the largest beach in Cornwall and designated a Site of Amazing Natural Beauty. A sight-seeing boat takes tourists to a nearby puffin colony and shows off the coral reef etc.

Never heard of it? Don't be too surprised...it's completely fictitious

A teacher from Truro set up a prank website a few months ago to confuse tourists and amuse the locals and it seems to have worked. It's even getting coverage on the BBC today.

I'm not 100%, but the I think the photo at the top of the site is actually a picture of Gull Ible Beach in Derbyshire
