| | | Re: Island of Mull Glad you had a good trip to this brilliant island BM.
Good luck with the Otters next time! They are there and I have to say I have always found them to be less elusive than at other locations.
I look forward to seeing some more Mull pics in the Gallery later. The one you have posted in your message has us all waiting in anticipation ....

....... I'll try and upload the rest to the Gallery. | So glad you had a good trip, would have been embarassing if you had got marooned on Ulva or lost bikes over cliff edge or something

| | | Re: Island of Mull BM, did you go whale watching ? I'm going after the orcas again this year - boat trip out of tobermory. for otters I know there is a top site in cumbria but I think its supposed to be secret so I don't want to post it on the web. I will check with my contact and if he says its okay I'll pm you details.

| | | Re: Island of Mull Mull, like Skye, is one of my favourite places. I could fill a book with listings of "hot spots" for otter. Forget it!! The harder you look for them, the less likely you are to see one. They will simply pop up when you least expect them. Last year, after a week of searching for otters, we were on the shores of a loch, and stopped for a drink on a walk, and an otter came out just yards in front of us with an eel - couldn't believe it. Just keep your eyes open, but don't try TOO hard.

Weather was relatively kind but stormy skies made for some dramatic sunrises and sunsets! | Did you go in the tea room? When I was last there they were growing tomatoes in the public call box outside!
Did you see David Livingstone's grandfather's house and manage to walk out to Gometra?
