Rowhill Nature Reserve is situated on the Surrey/Hampshire border between Aldershot and Farnham. The source of the River Blackwater, the Reserve comprises 55 acres of mostly mixed deciduous woodland and working coppice. As well as the deciduous woodland a surprisingly diverse range of other habitats can be found there including:
* heathland
* meadow
* sphagnum bog
* ponds
* streams
* pine woodland
Rowhill Nature Reserve Field Centre is open on Sundays and Bank holidays and is used as a centre for natural history education for pre-school children, schools and colleges and youth groups. Run by Rowhill Nature Reserve Society, a registered charity which was founded in 1968. Volunteers of the Society manage Rowhill on behalf of its owners Rushmoor Borough Council.
