In just three months we have had another 2,000 threads. Thats a 33 percent growth, on the previous figure in 90 odd days. The site is growing at an incredible rate at the moment.

Excuse this query, but I am a complete dunce in the workings of the internet.
How does it help WAB to have lots more threads? Is this better than having a few much longer threads? Does it matter if only a few members contribute? Is there a conflict between quality and quantity?
Obviously I can see that an active community is more fun for the participants (and I am enjoying the interplay), are there more tangible benefits?
