Uploads not appeared yet???

Hi all, am new to this site and have uploaded 2 images, 2 days ago. I've had 1 confirmation e mail but no images have appeared yet but later postings have??
Is this unusual, usual or is it just me??

I would guess a gallery editor will be along in a minuite to awnser this definitively , but in my experience uploads can take 48 hours especially if the mods are busy

the other thing that slows it down is if the titles are not in the correct format or if the identification is difficult to confirm.

Hi, one was of a Roe deer and the other a landscape. I'm sure i uploaded into the correct category.

for flora and fauna titles are supposed to be common name - scientific name , if you dont do that it slows down the ID confirmation especially if you are dealing with esoteric beetles or summat. Roe deer should be fairly straight forward though so it is unlikely to be that.

What size were the files ? They are supposed to be under 500kb and at least 600x800 pixels up to a maximum of 1024 x 1260

If you were within these reqs I'm not sure what to suggest , you might be best pm'ing Matt_xyz, Fungi john, or Wildone to ask

We've a policy we don't discus publicly editing decisions, preferring to use PM's.

As the number of members grow, should n't the numbers of moderaters increase also, otherwise the work load is going to be even more prohibitive.
