Photographing Mammals/Birds etc

I've noticed a few photos in the gallery of birds/mammals that have been taken "indoors".

How about a short note explaining the nature of the photo - that the bird/mammal is in rehabilitation, recovering from injury etc. This would help future users when browsing the gallery to understand that these creatures are not pets.

Cheers

Surely each user knows which pics s/he has submitted. Search for your user name and all will be revealed. No trawling needed.

Re: Photographing Mammals/Birds etc

As Wildone says, I'm pretty sure the majority of posters will know which photos they have posted.

If anyone is unsure, send me a PM.

Cheers

Hello Helen,
i think, you meant my pics. I will add something to each picture. They have in fact been orphaned, injured or sick and later been released of course as far as possible. I am sorry.. i did not realize that people could think, they are pets,as in Germany it is not allowed to keep them in captivity.

Hi allerleirauh

Many thanks for your reply. Yes, it will be a good idea if you could add a short line or two explaining. Any problems, just shout!

Thanks again.

Re: Photographing Mammals/Birds etc

Hi Allerleirauh and welcome.

In Galleries click on Gallery search and in the box search by user name enter your user name. Make sure the search in catorgies Search all Categories is ticked. Click the Search Now box. This should then show all of your photos. Click on a picture to bring up the large size. On the top right hand side click Image Tools and click Edit Image. This should enable you to then add the information in the description box.

If you still have trouble then let me know and we'll see if further help can be given.

Ciao

Wildone
