Where to post images?

Well already exposing myself as a newbie to the forums

Where should I post images to share? should I just post them straight to the gallery or should I post them in the relavent forum and then to the gallery?
Can people make comments in the galleries?
Lastly are images prefered without a watermark?

I tried to figure this out myself but have failed so sorry if the answers are staring me in the face.

Welcome to WAB Raffman.

You can post either to the main Galleries, where comments can be left, these are moderated and could take a few hours to to accepted. After you've posted them you could then raise a thread in the relevant forum, linking the image by copying the bb code, which shows when you view your image, and pasting it into the Forum thread. There is no need to load any image twice.
Or you can post into the Forum or unidentified Forum Galleries and raise a thread about them. The difference is that the Forum and Unidentified are not moderated, so us moderators can't get our sticky fingers on them!
Images are preferred without watermarks, especially as the acceptable sizes are not suitable for use anywhere else. You can If you wish use watermarks, just make sure it's discreet.
