We now have 20,000 images in the gallery. What a fantastic achievement.
A big thanks to all of those that have contributed and an even bigger thanks to the editors who have done such a fantastic job on maintaining the gallery. |

Yes, and interesting that (just) less than a quarter of them are birds. It's very good that people are photographing other subjects.  |

Being that kind of person, if my brain was'nt hurting I would be trying to work out how many gigabytes of memory all those pictures have used.
As Paul says nice to see that around three quarters are of subjects other than birds.
A remarkable achievement nevertheless but these big numbers still make my brain hurt. |
