Forum s/w doesn't cope with high res images

Hi,

I've noticed that the forum s/w isn't rendering gallery pages with high res photos very well.

Taking a random example:

I've checked in IE and Firefox, both have problems with title bars at the top of the page and Firefox will often draw parts of a frame edge over the image itself.

I've seen this before on forum s/w that has a set width for rendering its pages and, IMO, is a bad thing for various reasons - not the least of which is accessibility for people with visual impairments, etc.

Any chance of enabling some alternative skins for users to choose from and include at least one that will use the full width of the browser window?

Hi pxl8,

It looks as though a few of the pics aren't resizing properly for the 1024 template on the gallery so I've just started running the resize maintenance tool to fix them.

All the rest should be resized properly at 880px wide so they fit into the side bars, but they'll also still be viewable at fullsize (if they're larger than 880 wide) by clicking on them.

As for a 100% wide skin, that shoudln't be too difficult so I'll have a go at putting one together over the next few days.
