| | | Links to Unidentified Photos I suspect that photo's in the unidentified section of the gallery would be identified quicker if a link to subject photo was given in a thread in the forum.
Suggestions? |

| | | Re: Links to Unidentified Photos StuartDH and I have done this with varying degrees of success. Really wonder if, like many of the fungus images, they will ever be IDed. Several members have agreed to look in the Unidentified Gallery periodically, so cannot see what more can be done. |

| | | Re: Links to Unidentified Photos Well, a message could be "stickied" in the unid section, so that when people post a photo in there for i.d., they read the msge advising them to post a thread here.
On said thread, they would link their particular photo. Like this, for example: Click on this link to take you to unidentified photo
Then, when people click on that link, it will take them direct to the photo (in this case, one of yours I picked out at random). |

| | | Re: Links to Unidentified Photos I think I'll probably put togther a one picture box that rotates through the unidentified images and place it at the topic of the right-hand column in the forums.
As for the almost unidentifiable fungi etc, I think we'll just put them in their relevant categories without a full I.D. While it would be great to have them named, they're still worth looking at, even without an I.D., and someday, someone may be able to put a name to them.
Wildone - To link to an image in the gallery, just copy (Select and Ctrl+C) the BB code at the bottom of the picture and paste (Ctrl+V) the code in the thread like this: | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
