Afoot with Woodlandguy?

Hello Stuart, and everyone

I was thinking of posting one of accounts of my walks, or narratives as many call them, at the site. I am just writing to see if that is ok with you, and if so, where the best place to put it is.

They are much longer than the average message board post, as they are very story-like, but at the same time, they are just the right length to read while having a cup of tea

So I am not sure if the best place for them is on the forums or not, as some will be able to read them through, while others who visit the forums will not be expecting a post that length there and will skip it. What do you think Stuart? And also, what does everyone else think too?

Also, they cover many of the things you can see out in the country, so really, they stretch across most of the subjects and more, on the forums list.

Hi Woodlandguy,

Sounds to me like we need to build ourselves a type of treehouse for the forum

. Somewhere where we can include lots of creative material, quizzes, stories, cartoons - basically any threads that are difficult to put in any one section.

I'd also like to put this sort of thing on the main http://www.wildaboutbritain.com web site later on...but we're still building the relevant sections and it'll probably be a little while before they're ready.

Until then, the Treehouse area would probably be best.

Any alternative ideas are also very welcome

Hi Stuart,

It all sounds exciting building this site up. I must say, it is fun to be here

I am not too sure what you meant about the treehouse term, but what I will do, is post a story in the 'General' section on the forum for now, if that is cool. Will post it tomorrow.
