Re: 2007 Calendar Example

Looks great , nice picture of the squirrel. Will any of Wolfhill's White tailed sea Eagles be included as some of them are too good to waste.Especially the latest catching mackerel

Re: 2007 Calendar Example

I think that this layout/presnetation with the main image and 3 thumbnails down the left hand side is excellent.

Roll on publication so we can buy a few!

Isn't it lovely - and this page is just for starters. Wait til you see the rest when your calendar/s arrive.

The sample page is very impressive - I think you're on to a winning formula with that presentation. Look forward to being able to purchase on publication. Well done team!

Nicely presented Maybe Stuart should kick my stuff off the home page and do some serious advertising for the Calendar

Has the final format of the calendar been decided yet? Would suggest 13 A4 sheets printed both sides and spiral bound would give the best display of the proposed example layout. So that when opened out to A3 for wall hanging the large A4 landscape image would sit above the A4 calendar/thumbnail section. (Photobox produce one in this format)

Re: 2007 Calendar Example

I believe that the final decision was A4 portrait format with 6 leaves printed both sides plus a cover and a card back.

13 sheets would be nice so that each image takes up a full side of A4 but, as Eeyore says, I think the quote we received was for 6 sheets printed both sides. This was a lot cheaper and finances were the constraint. Presumably then, the image and the calendar/thumbnail section will fit on a side of A4.

see post 3 in this thread. You might need to save the file rather than open it direct from the link.

Re: 2007 Calendar Example

Everything is in at the printers and we've checked the proofs so, fingers crossed, they should be ready by the end of next week. I'll add a link to the online shop nearer the time, but I'll also add some more shots of the calendar at the beginning of next week.

Stu
