| | | Add an avatar O.K. My hubby is the web designer.
When it comes to techy stuff....not me.
I'd like to know how to get an avatar showing. Or if someone would do it for me??
I know that I'm to do it through user C.P. but I'm just used to having Pics available to choose from and click on it. I don't know how to browse and select one or anything like that.
I'd ask hubby but he's away doing exhibitions.
So please anyone? |

| | | Re: Add an avatar If you email the image you wish to use as an avatar to me kevin@thelewiss.co.uk I will resize it and upload it to my website. Then all you will need to do is open the User CP, Edit avatar and enter the custom url address I can give you for the image location
regards

| | | Re: Add an avatar I think I worked it out.
I stole this one from my own site.
I've been playing around and I've learnt something new.
Cheers for the help Kev.
Plus I've only just worked out how to email basic texts. Images are a bit out of my league. |

| | | Re: Add an avatar AND add a location - it's very helpful when people make comments on sightings or ask for id.s, to have a rough idea of whether they're in Cornwall, London or John O'Groats! Doesn't need detail, just a county or town is good enough .... | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
