Submission issues?

Hi,

I've tried twice to get a picture of a Dark Bush Cricket through over the last couple of days. The first one I think was slightly outside the size limits and was too big but I resized and resubmitted last night and it's still not appearing.

Any with the rights to the picture side able to advise please? I've not had issues with pictures before or are they being more heavily screened these days? (even though I think It's a pretty ok picture)

Hi Toby
You will find that a piccy can take a couple of days to get through the system. The gallery mods are a hard working bunch but their workload can sometimes be rather large.

Happened with some of my pics but looking realistically at the number of submissions seeming a 100+ per day reviewing on this scale much be an almost impossible task perhaps it would help by reducing the requested number of submissions ..... maybe down to 5 a day or less? I am as guilty as any on this but do we need to have as many pictures of the normal forms of butterflies such as the Common Blue, Painted Lady and Red Admiral ect being submitted? Let's reserve it for the rarer forms and more difficult to photograph species.
