In a spectacular U-turn, I'm changing the gallery back to the old one again.
We gave the new gallery a good shot, but despite being advertised as a better version of the old gallery, it simply isn't the case.
It had some great features and advantages, but it also has some big disadvantages (and the latter outweighed the former) - so theold gallery is rising from the ashes.
It means that we don't have any uploads since Saturday (including the last 24 hours), so please reupload anything that you've posted in the past few days.
I'm really sorry for any inconvenience that the past few days has caused, but we should now be able to crack on like before.

I've no stong opinions on the gallery front but have no problem with you trying new stuff out - after all "tis better to try and fail than not to try"

Any chance that when I reload my Peacock Butterfly picture I can get the 8/10 mark someone kindly gave me as it will probably be the only marks I'll ever get 
Also I'm confused as to why the colour and fonts from the signatures has been turned off.. I did read that it was because some people were but I'm not sure how adding colour/fonts does that  |

My understanding , and I am reading between the lines is that some people have been using rather too much colour in their posts - I guessit is supposed to be for special emphasis where as a few posters have been using all manner of different colours rather freely , leading TO the COLour EQUIVallent of THIS kind of THIng which doesnt do a lot for the look of the forum. Still like I said I'm interpreting here so if you want the full SP pM Stu and ask.

Ha HA just as I was getting used to it.I must say I do prefer the old one although the ratings system on the new one I quite liked.I hope when my dragons go back up allthose who commented and rated them redo that too

If the images don't go back one can always upload again say in about a weeks time. We should give the mods time to sort out everything . I guess some images will get lost.

The old one (your new one) I saw for a couple of days and it changes back to your old one (my new one) so I cannot judge which may be the better of the two.
