| | | Keeping track of messages? Hello. Is there an easy way to list the threads that I have contributed to - even if they are in different forums? Is this something to do with 'subscribing'? Honestly, I have tried to work it out for myself but am a bit stuck
When I click on 'Quick Links' and then 'subscribed threads' it brings up the threads I have contributed to in the bird forum but I have put a message in the gardening forum and another one now. Can I keep track of them all in one go?
Thank you. |

| | | Re: Keeping track of messages? basically you are "subscribed" to every thread you post on - although you can chose to unsubscribe if you want. The User CP will ordinarily show those with new posts, but cluicking on show all subscribed threads shows the lot - if you have chosen to you will also get email updates of the threads you are subscribed to - this option works well when you are new but is a pain as you get more involved - I got 139 email updates this morning

| | | Re: Keeping track of messages? Hi Eeyore, I wondered how you managed to keep up with all the threads you are involved in!
I have tried what you said but it does not show all the threads I have participated in - this thread is there and the bird forums ones are. But the gardening ones and the photography one isn't. The gardening and photopraphy ones aren't there even if there is a new message.
Not to worry, I am sure I will manage. Just thought it would be easier to keep up with stuff. Thank you for trying to help (as you always do!).
To be honest, I'm just grateful you didn't recommend I be bumped on the head and put in a pie (said with the greatest amount of smiles). |

| | | Re: Keeping track of messages? you can also click on your own name on the members online which opens your user profile then click on either show "all posts by dianne e" or "show all threads started by dianne e"
