| | | Changes/Underline Is it just me or has anyone else noticed that everything has been suddenly underlined - why. I find it a bit off putting.

| | | Re: Changes/Underline I've added it to see if it increases the number of click-throughs on the auto-linked text in posts...like Comma Butterfly and Fly Agaric. The stats seem to show that a lot of visitors don't tend to click on links unless they're underlined like they are in most sites on the web.
If it doesn't make much difference then I'll probably put it back to the old style, but after a number of recent improvements we're seeing a massive drop in the site's bounce rate (the number of visitors who only look at one page) and it's usually because of things like this that they spend more time viewing the site.
Underlining the links to reference pages etc should hopefully get more visitors seeing what the site has to offer

| | | Re: Changes/Underline Try changing to sand background.Go to "control"
"settings+options"
"edit options"
"forum skin"-the last title on page
click on "sand" and save.
The result is you get a 2 tone effect that is kinder to the eye in the forums,at least I think so.

| | | Re: Changes/Underline You are clever, Ellen!! I really didn't like all that underlined stuff but I did as you suggested and it has worked - it's gone.
Many, many, thanks.

I've not noticed anything being underlined and to be honest I doubt it would bother me much |
