Have I any photos on hold somewhere waiting for the right moderator only I cannot remember what I sent yesterday 3 photos are up but the ones I posted before them havent yet gone up.I think they were in the Damsel fly catagory.I normally delete out of my special folder once they are uploaded but forgot and now I cannot remember what I posted.Today and tomorrow will be my last for a while so I have to get myself organised

I am really going to miss being on here for the next 10 days and will not be able to go out and about for at least 3 weeks after that.But I can assure you I will be on here as soon as I am home.Going to miss you all as this is such a friendly place to be

As with everything in my life it has gone wrong again.I was promised a date in June when I saw the consultant after my op in January when I discovered that when they did my hernia on the right,I found it had pushed out on the left.Went for pre op today only to find that I should have received a letter putting it back a month
I had everything sorted and I have students every year in July and August to top up our low income.Now that has been stuffed up I am going to be broke and I turned down some temporary bar work with my daughters mum in law on Saturday nights for 4 or 5 weeks.I am so low now cant even be bothered with going out let alone photograph anything I am feeling so let down.Thanks for your best wishes

Oh CB. Don't be down. I know it's easy to say but we're all here to help you through the tough times and you are such a special member on the boards. It's rotten for you it's cancelled but try to 'keep your pecker up' say 'stuff it' and get out in the wonderful Devon countryside and take some of your great pictures that we all enjoy so much. These delayed operations are SO upsetting. You get all psyched up for it only to be let down at the last minute PLUS it has upset your plans for the summer.

Just keep cheerful and get back out there - there are lots of photos just waiting to be taken!

Well I left the hospital in tears,but did not go straight home.I bought myself some lunch from the hospital bakery shop and drove to a part of the Exeter canal I have been before.Sat there watching the swans and eating lunch.It was very tranquil there and took a few swan pics.I dare say they will end up in the gallery at some point Felt a little calmer came home and laid on sofa to read a book and fell asleep.didn't wake up till 5 and hubby was due home for tea in half an hour and I hadnt even started it
