Photo Help Please

OK. I'm probably thick/not looking in the right place

Managed to upload two pics to the gallery without any problems. However, when I try to put the thumbnails in a post, for the life of me I can't find the button (as described in the instructions) for the "link to thumbnail".

I tried copying the thumbnail URL but when I previewed my post, got a little yellow band with "...external image".

I'm obviously doing something wrong so if anyone could point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful

If you go to your photos in the gallery and scroll down you come to the link below the photo click on it then right click so that its highlighted click on copy then go to your post position the cursor where you want and right click paste and your photo should appear.

I think the instructions you are viewing are out of date - we used to have a link to thumbnail facility but it was getting abused and taking up lots of server capacity so it got trashed

these days you paste the image code (under the pic) into the thread and it automatically creates as a thumbnail
