Bandwidth question

I'm looking to create a new web site with my photos, and I need to decide how much bandwidth I am likely to need. So, out of interest, does anyone know what the typical monthly/daily bandwidth used by WAB? (I am assuming that I would never get anywhere near the same value, so it provides a safe upper limit.)

100GB a month will be more than enough.

WAB will do over 300GB this month, compared to 115GB in December and less than 45GB in May last year.

It's hard to project how much you'll use, but you basically take the average size of your images and multiply by the number of visitors you might get, multiplied by how many pages they're likely to view during each visit.

A new site will probably get less than 100 visitors a day (usually less than 10 unless you advertise a lot) for the first six months at least...until google picks up the site.

My web site uses less than 20GB per month. I have 300-400 pages and 1500-2000 visitors per day. I keep my images fairly small but I do have some video clips.

I don't imagine that you would need more than 20GB and also as Stu says, it takes a long time (sometimes years) to build up good visitor numbers. Don't expect too much too soon.

Thanks to everyone for helpful answers. Yes, I will not be too optimistic. Sites need compelling content which WAB has, and most private sites lack. I will go with a 20GB deal. I have at the moment about 300 pages and 500 photos at 100KB each. That should reach 500 pages by the year end with luck.
