Please help when uploading to Galleries

Hello all

Many images are being uploaded to the main gallery in the wrong title format. This means that a Moderator has to edit them. This is very time consuming and results in other important tasks not being carried out.

Please can I ask that when you submit images to the Main Galleries you use the proper naming format?

The Correct format is Common Name - Scientific name i.e.

Robin - Erithacus rubecula

Please note where upper case and lower case characters are used. Also the single space followed by the minus sign followed by a single space between the Common Name and Scientific name.

Unfortunately some members are using titles like those shown below

robin – erithacus rubecula
robin-Erithacus rubecula
Robin/Erithacus rubecula
Robin-Erithacus rubecula
Robin(Erithacus rubecula)
ROBIN – ERITHACUS RUBECULA
Robin on bird bath
Frame 1234
Taken on 13/04/08
Unknown bird

Regrettably all images not using the proper format will be deleted.
