I AM STARTING TO BECOME PARANOID. NO MATTER WHAT I DO MY PHOTOS, APART FROM TWO, DO NOT GET ACCEPTED FOR THE GALLERY.
IT DOESN'T SEEM TO MATTER WHETHER I RESIZE THEM OR NOT THEY JUST KEEP GETTING KNOCKED BACK. I HAVE ASKED FOR HELP BEFORE AND I HAVE READ THE RULES A MILLION TIMES AND NOTHING SEEMS TO WORK.
IS IT A VENDETTA OR AM I JUST DOING SOMETHING TOTALLY WRONG? FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND THE REDEMPTION OF MY SANITY, HEEELLLPPP!

chill - it certainly isnt a vendetta the mods have far more important things to do than engage in such childish antics which they are far too good to do anyway.

imo this could come down to a vareity of things

1) are you submitting to the archive or the main galleries - if its the latter then it could be that your pics just aint good enough or that they are of very common species that the gallery has lots of already

2) are you sure you are titling them correctly ie common name- scientific name , incorrect titling is a major reason for images getting bounced

3) if your pics are good, sharp , well composed etc and are titled correctly etc then it must be something technical - check your firewall, anti virus, and IP settings - some conflict with the upload process

and if all else fails your best bet would be to pm the relevant editor, mod or admin and discuss with them

If you get the title incorrect, that is don't put the it in the right format, your images will not be accepted.
It's easy to find the correct format, simply look at any other image of the same species in the gallery and copy it. Job done.
I've no idea why your images are not accepted, the last thing we look at when moderating is who has uploaded the image, but as your admitting your not getting the title correct, there's your answer.

if you dont know what something is , its probably best to upload it to the unidentified section of the archive , then link it into a post asking for an id

the archive gallerys (unid'd and forum images) arent limited by the same rules as they are essentially unmoderated so titling shouldnt make a difference there. - once its been id'd you can reupload it to the main galleries

btw a small piece of advice on nettiquette - its generally accepted in cyberspace that capitals denote SHOUTING which can make your post appear aggressive when you dont mean it to be.

i took all your advice and, along with a free download of photo editing software from HP, my last 3 out of 4 uploads to the gallery have been succesful. thank you once again.
