| | | Re: Problems with site... there do seem to be one or two problems. I'm having to hard refresh (CTRL and F5) when I open a thread in order to see the latest posts. I'm sure Stu is aware of these issues, but I'll point them out to him anyway.

| | | Re: Problems with site... I'm having a few minor problems with the site this morning.
I've just created a new thread in The Treehouse, 'GuyF reaches 1000 posts'. On the main forum page, it is shown as the latest post in that forum, and if you click on the link you go to the post. But if you actually go to The Treehouse, it doesn't appear to be there.
EDIT: Now the main forum page shows that Deer Stalker has added a post to the thread. But when I click on the link (to see the first unread post), it only shows my original post and no other.
Nor does the thread appear under 'Your Posts'. Also, three or four threads under 'Your Posts' are shown as having new posts, but when I visit them I'd already seen all the posts ('Guess Who', for example).
Happy New Year, Stu! WAB is obviously seriously hung over after last night's celebrations!

| | | Re: Problems with site... Stu,
I've just gone to my new thread again, using the link on the main forum page to the latest post. Again I couldn't see Deer Stalker's post. Then I clicked the 'refresh' button on my browser (IE 7) and his post appeared. Went to The Treehouse and refreshed, and now I could see my new thread.
The problem I had with 'Your Posts' seems to be something to do with the fact that some posts have been given new times! I'm sure I saw the latest posts in 'Guess Who' yesterday, but now they have times from this morning.
EDIT: correction - it's not the time, it's the date - they appear to have been posted this afternoon or this evening !!! Oh no! WAB has fallen through a hole in the time-space continuuum !
Hope that helps,
Pete

Could you also do me favour and check the problem that you used to have with the frontpage of the site being blank when you went to it from your favourites. It should hopefully be fixed now and it was one of the reasons why I upgraded the reference section

Stu | Will do.
Yep. that's working.
I'm using Firefox, and from here everything seems to be fine at the moment.
