| | Help! - Rename / move or delete photos? Hi,
I'm a noob on the site and I apologise for the inconvenience, but I have uploaded 2 photos to the wrong place (main gallery when they should have gone into the unidentified Archive). I think the files were called Spider11.jpg and Spider12.jpg. They were uploaded this afternoon.
I did manage to upload the photos to the correct place where they have since been identified. However, I don't know how to rename the files or their titles to reflect this. They are in the Forum Images section of the Archive gallery and are called Spider21.jpg (id now Steatoda Bipunctata Female) and Spider12.jpg (id now Steatoda Bipunctata Male).
I don't know whether you want to keep the pictures where they are or move them to the gallery or just delete them if they are common enough pictures?
Again, sorry for the mess-up.
Thanks,
Chavy.

Reason: Spelling mistakes and clearer info

So its just what to do about renaming, moving (or deleting if preferred) the two files in the Forum Gallery.
Cheers,

Chavy | Hi Chavy.
To have an image renamed, or moved into the main gallery, click on the Report image icon in the additional info box, under the image. Give the name in the correct format, that is Common Name - Scientific Name, plus the gallery you wish it to be transferred to.
We'll then deal with it. |

I have done as you requested and it was easier than I thought it was going to be!
As far as I can tell this spider doesn't have a common name so I called it the scientific name twice(?). I have specified which is the male and which is the female. Hope this is ok for you.
Thanks,
