I did try messaging crisscross again this morning and it accepted it! So some messages have been deleted, or the quota referred to yesterday! 
It's worth keeping an eye on your quota though, they can soon build up - especially if you're popular like me of course!  |

I just tried to reply to a message from a member and got this message when I tried to submit it:
'name of member' has exceeded their stored private messages quota and can not accept further messages until they clear some space.
is it a fault or is the members message folder full up (exceeded quota)? |

Your PM will also trigger a message to the member that the quota is full and that some deletion is necessary.
